To create a first impression at Waffle House that is friendly, organized and efficient. To greet and assist customers who enter Waffle House, making them feel comfortable.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
DESCRIPTIONS OF MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND WORK AIDS — USED
You need to know how to use the following equipment: grill, gas burners, cooking utensils such as knives, spatulas, ladles, pots, pans, waffle irons, coffee makers, refrigerators, toasters, ice machine, mops, buckets, prep table and sink, squeegee, dust pan, towels, broom, and window cleaner.
SKILLS NEEDED
You are to have fluency in the English language, good memory, organizational skills, math skills, and communication skills. Also, you must have a pleasant appearance and personality.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Primary Work Site: Inside – 95%, Outside 5%
- Hazards: Wet Floors
- Air Quality Factors: Odors from food and dust may accumulate from customer traffic.
- Work Surface: Even, flat/hard. The surface may be dry, wet or greasy, on occasion. Rubber safety mats are near the dish machine, and the grill and ice machine.
